The teachers at the Helene Comay Nursery School are graduates of an accredited early childhood programme who also meet our criteria and clear the criminal reference check policy.

Soraya Yacoubi, the supervisor of the Helene Comay Nursery School, graduated in 1996 from the Early Childhood Education Program at Ryerson University, Soraya has more than 20 years of experience with preschool children. Twelve of those years she served as a teacher alongside Helene Comay.

Angela Nikolakakos is an ECE graduate from Centennial College who experiences include seven years working with Helene Comay in Toronto. Angela also has worked for the City of Toronto running pre-school programs, day camps and coaching gymnastics.

Suzie Martins is a graduate of Early Childhood Education from Humber College.  She has worked in a variety of preschool settings over the years and is now in her third year at the HCNS.

Mira Heitz is an ECE graduate from Mothercraft. She has more than 10 years of experience, three of those years are with Helene Comay and Soraya Yacoubi.

Miriam Katzin has worked with Helene Comay for 25 years as a music teacher. She is a trained musician, private piano teacher and accompanist. Her goal is to bring the children the enjoyment of rhythm and song and to provide opportunities for them to experience music through movement, take pleasure in singing and develop listening skills.
